My name is Steve Christensen and I have been selling, servicing, moving and repairing pool tables since 1998. I personally work on every pool table moved and serviced by Temecula Valley Billiards. I got into the billiards business while working as general manager for a large dealer in Salt Lake City, UT. Ready for a change in weather, I set up shop in California in 2001, selling thousands of pool tables at home shows and fairs across the state.
In 2005, after driving 70,000 miles in one year and seeing my kids all too rarely, I changed the focus of the business to be closer to home. We slowed down the sales, ramped-up the pool table moving and service aspect of the business, and started TemeculaValleyBilliards.com.
I still put a lot of miles on my van, but now I come home and see the family every day! And it's been great to get to know so many wonderful folks while working on their pool tables!
When I was focused on sales, I was prone to try and make people think what I wanted them to think. Now as a service tech I get to just enjoy getting to know the fine people who make up our community! I talk less, and listen more than I did as a salesman.
